This is what a sleepless night, 52 layers, and a muse that will not be gainsaid'll get you. Whew.
I guess I should mention that I didn't reference, in case anyone's wondering. (Yop...probably why Naruto and Sakura don't look much like Naruto and Sakura.
) I've never drawn them before so this was a WAY COOL experience. (Praise God I don't have class in the morning...now...today...wwwwhew.)
Wow. I beat the crap outta Sakura! Face/arm peeling, eye swollen, mouth bleeding and whatnot. OOOO. (By the by - what's flying off her arm is her elbow-pad thing-a-ma-jig.) Jus' shows how far she's willing to go to save Naruto. :3
This isn't necessarily a NxS thing. (Though, I -do- like that pairing. :heart:) Mores like, a friendship thing. AGAPE! As of right now, I'm tired of Sasuke. Tis why I didn't draw him. (No offense! I love the angsty, emo kid, but a YEAR of angst is ENOUGH.)
Please, no advanced critiques. For personal reasons. I worked really REALLY hard on this. I don't feel like hearing that the prison bars aren't spaced evenly according to perspective. I already know this, yo!
Naruto's body proportions are off because he's morphing (Wow, that sounds Power-Rangery) into the Nine-Tailed Fox. There. As for the bars? Eh. Whoever built the cage is a retard.
You can make your own guesstimations/assumptions/etc. about this picture. I have my own idea, but telling you what I think would ruin all the fun! :3

I love the expressions, they're so full of life. And I think it really does look like them. I dunno if you've read the manga, but Sakura in the anime isn't really how Masashi Kishimoto meant her to look. I think the way you've drawn her here is the way she's supposed to be, but cute or pretty at all, more like someone you'd like to slap xD I think it's her upturned nose, it reminds me of Masashi's first sketches of her.

holy crapcakes this shines a whole new light o Naruto, i love the symbolism used here in a clash of emotions like fear and anger and whatnot, this is so well done, the coloring and shading is perfect, and the expression on sakuras face would make the naruto creator wet himself
