Fabulous textures and movement! You really got a sense of scale going--I think there could be some more dark values, and maybe desaturate the head and objects farther away to really give some extra oomph to the massive size of the beast.
It's deffinately a cool pic of one of my favorite collosus(Sp?), I really like the perspective and texture in his fins. You deffinately got the sandy-stone feel down. And you were able to cut out the majority of the monster, but still have those aware of the game know what it is. That is excellent there. But I think to add power to the image you should deffinately work on adding more tones. Like lighter and darker tones in the fur to show the direction of light and add more life to it. Maybe even place in a very VERY light mask of purple on the guy. I would also work a little with the background, It's slightly difficult to see right off hand what you're going for-- But THAT might be my own problem ;
Other than that, I find this to be very cool. You did a very splendid job on this, and I hope my critique came of at least some help.
