Well, okay, been thinking about some animation.. think like a post-apocalyptic Wizard of Oz. This here is the Lion.
let'see.. as far as a developed character goes, he used to be human, now he's not, and in his process his trachea was scorched up. he's unable to speak beyond raspy growls. he's smarter than he looks, and uses sign language to communicate. he's also much gentler. While he's afraid of the world as it is, he'll do anything to protect Dorothy.
