Oh my gosh this is exquisite! Boyfriends are useful for things like that aren't they, heehee! The beautiful colours and softness of the figure...I really can't even begin to describe how the painting makes me feel. It just fills me with joy, happiness, and...it's so dreamy. :)
After looking over your stuff, I'd have to say this is my favorite.
This really captures your style and the color choices and the /way/ it was painted are really superb. I wasn't sure where you wanted me to leave my critiques, so I'll leave it on my favorite pic of your's xD
your other work is pretty cool as well. I think the thing I noticed most that you could probably work on is proper body structure- whether size or shape. The colorful bird-man that you have (don't have the link handy ) was a bit short in the legs. There was also a pale woman with designs on her face, I believe I can recall- her face was a bit out of proportion. You have your colors down. I think your next step is mastering proper proportions and I think that you'll produce more and more fantastic work while still maintaining your style :)
wow! Jambii this is very beautiful. I love your composition. it works very well!!
I like this...you should totally do still lives...the way you color things would look beautiful in a still life.
I try doing still lives at school, for art class, but I usually use just pencil. =) do you ever use watercolor? I think acrylic paints are better. Watercolor is very hard to control for me.
The one thing I quite like about yuor works is the multitude of ways a piece of work can be interpreted and also its humble beginnings such as this one being based on a bedtime story. Love the abtractness yet the blending of of bodies.

I'd say more, but i'm just far too much of a dirty, pedestrian prole to understand the beauty of this piece.
