"Clutching her broken body in its bloodied claws, the beast leaned its open jaws close to her, fangs freshly tainted with a thin coating of dark crimson, inspecting the condition of the sacrifice the others had brought to it. As its pale, yellowed eyes raked over her bruised face, she turned away, desperately searching through the crowd of anxious predators for any sign of hope. Her glossy eyes widened as her gaze fell upon the familiar sight of her loyal friend, and she cried out to him, pleading tears trickling softly down her dirty cheeks."

Ehhhhhhhhhhhh, well I love the way this sketch turned out, but I totally lost interest part ways through the coloring, so I ended up half-assing the rest of it just so I could get something up. >>; I might re-do the coloring later if I feel like it, but don't count on it. So, yeah; there's a lot I don't like about this, but at least I'm submitting SOMETHING, right?

O3O do you have any more of this story (pssst speaking f the story, repeating adjectives tends to have a negative effect on the writing. I would like to suggest that here: "...As it's pale, yellowed eyes raked over her pale, bruised face, she turned away..." you could put in "...As its pale, yellowed eyes raked over her tear-stained, bruised face, she turned away..." or vice versa.
Just a suggestion I really like writing, and I liked the passage so far =D awesome picture too!!
