well here it is at last. this is what i do for fun at the shop. what this here is, is sheet metal cut out with a plasma cutter, then grinded down and wire wheeled, then bet to shape, then round stock (stem) thats been heated and hammered to curve, then the leaves bent and wire tack/welded on, then the whole stem wire wheeled, then tack/weld the rose togther, then wire wheel the heat effected zone again, then oxy-acetelyne heated to achieve color, then E-poxy glued toghter. bacisly anyway. hehehe Anyway, i hope you see the color in it. didn't show as well ihe pictures obviously. this one was done for my instructors 24th wedding anniversary. this is the best one i've done so far to. anyway i'm very proud of my creation(s). i've been selling them on center and am several orders backed-up. thats kinda why its taken so long to get a picture up. i can't keep them very long after i make them it seems lol. and thats all i got to say really. Thanks for Viewin!

With an impressive show of skill and sensitivity to the subject matter, this artist has created one of the most true-to-life representations of a sculpted rose imaginable. Even with softer, more petal-like materials, few artists have been able to capture the delicate nature of this classical, beloved flora.

Quite the craftsmanship here.

Nakia Otieno Says:

Oh my god-that's beautiful! It looks so elegant! The petals and thorns are beautiful!!

Zoot Zoot Says:

I'd buy that. How much are you planning to retail it for? I'm willing to go all the way to the high 200's.

Bobfleadip Says:

The petals you made are amazing, I absolutely love how they came out, but my only critism is the stem. Maybe you should have used a thinner gauge of wire or just wrapt several of those barb wires together in order to make it, usually when you think of roses you think of something delicate, but the bulkiness of the stem is somewhat distracting, but it's nothing major, just something you might think about it the future, but once again nice job!

Imperial Obsession Says:

This is absolutely beautiful-- I love the color in the petals. I must agree with , though...perhaps a smaller gauge for the stem?
