Even Angels Fall

Even Angels Fall

She was graceful like a swan,

She was kind like a saint,

She was almost like....

An angel.

She would always smile at people and never lose her temper.

She would think of people before herself.

She was an angel

An angel on Earth.

An angel who watch over everybody including me.

She was also my angel.

My angel was on top of the world until that faithful day...

My angel had became depressed

And suicidal.

That day she decided that noone could save her from her dark despair.

That day she decided to end her life.

On that day, she actually became a real angel.

My angel left me.

She went to heaven as she was

A sinner.

She felt the same feelings that we humans feel.

She felt pain, remorse, and hopelessness.

She was human like us.

Even if she was an angel, she fell like every fallen angel.

Now I know that even angels fall...

A poem that I wrote in the loving memory of Angelica "Angel" Lucas, my friend and one of God's human angels who ended their life at the young age of 19.

Wherever you might be in heaven, Ang, just remember that I still love you even in death...
