Sarah Sketches for CaOD Class

That's "Character and Object Design" class.

We have to do do some cartoon pitch for our final and for the main character I chose.... why not.... Sarah. I don't think it's cheating, do you? I mean... drawing Sarah for homework?

People have always told me she has a great design and after only two class days at this class I can sort of see why. She's basically ca character that can do broad "cartoony" acting as well as subtle, more believable emotions. My teacher seems to adore her "petite"-ness and told me that her takes, even the wilder ones, look on-model. Sort of reminds of what told me about how I'm not afraid to distort Sarah's character without totally breaking it. Or something to that effect, I'm sorry I forget these things Nalem.

Anyway we had to do 9 thumbnails and I just took a few I didn't like so much and redid them bigger and more detailed. Though I think I should Make Sarah's nose a little pointier and her forehead a little flatter in the profile view.
