Poor Souji, at the tender age of 8 he slaughters his abusive family in a fit of panicky rage since they try to beat him to death and kill him. After killing them he goes off with a serial killer in order to become a badass mamajama (or would that be papajama? I don't even know anymore...).
10 years later he still hasn't dealt with his past and holds everything in, fooling everyone around him into thinking he has no emotions at all except for calmness and mirth (which also cause him to be a tremendously good warrior/samurai/assassin...whatever). Then Kenshin comes along and realizing he can't beat Sojiro at sword fightery decides to mind fuck the shit out of him.
And Soji's brain goes kaplodey :C
I've been in a bad mood lately, filled with wangsty emotional trauma due to RL bullshit and Soji has been helping me deal with it (through vent drawings and just marveling at how well he deals with everything that happens to him). Sad when a fictional character is more there for you then the physical people around you
Oh yeah, prismacolor markers were used on Soji and the tatami mats were done with a mixture of Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. I should've tried to make this look like a screen grab now that I think about it, lol complete with subtitles!
