I haven't drawn this character since 2001 and it saddens me 6 years later that I still can't do him any justice. Well, at least it's better then my older shit, which isn't saying much.
Sojiro is just...the greatest anime character ever. Not only is his personality unique and interesting but there's an understanding backstory as to why he's the way that he is. He's my all time favorite anime character, and now that I'm finally able to watch RK again I just had to try drawing him once more (The ending OVA really turned me off from the series when I watched it in 2002).
Soji-chan was colored with Prismacolor markers and the background was done with prismacolor pencils but unfortunately this scanned horribly. I of course decided to attempt to fix it with photoshop filters which...still leave me unsatisfied.
The only thing that makes me happy about this image is that Sojiro looks high off his ass (which is pretty much how he looks in the series anyways, so at least that's accurate).
