Quaid, my newest Sonic fanchar.
He is based off of the Egyptian hedgehog with light sandy colors and short quills. Quaid lives in the desert but has maintained a long-distance alliance with Shay D. and they have been known to collaborate on international missions of a shadier bent. He is a bit of a trouble maker, much like the Freedom Fighters of Knothole, specializing in sabotage. He is not all that strong, but he is blisteringly fast on sand.
His greatest trial is....his quills. He hates how short they are, and he gets a lot of grief for the somewhat feminine side-quills that refuse to grow strait.

One last thing:
I tried to do a dust cloud in the picture to make it look...windy...er, but I don't really think it turned out. What do you think?

The dust cloud does give more feel, especially with his wind-swept scarf. I think it looks brilliant!

It's pretty.
But yes, I am partial to that quirk in expressions, and noticed it in a couple of your drawings 
And the character himself is a cutey! I likes his spines a lot. Cool gloves with the little x-stitch.. and the way you drew the folds in his scarf pwns.
You is very good at drawing hands. And I like the way you manage to draw the lower eyelids on your characters and actually make them look good/right. I phail at that
