Starry Ruins

Zelgadis Greywords from Slayers.

Zelgadis was still on his long journey to find the Claire Bible. He has search every ruin known to this island, except one. This ruin was built on top of one of the tallest mountains and was left all alone. The old stone stairs lead all the way up to this building from a small town. The stairs went for miles and miles around the mountain and across difficult obstacles. No one had every gone there ever sense it became a ruin. Zel was determined. Taking a few breaks here and there on the stairs, falling down holes and getting beaten by falling rocks or the occasional creature, he was not about to give up. So finally reaching the top he let out a sigh of relief. Once there he saw the beautiful carving in the building walls and the statues leading inside. The hall was dark and smelt of mold. Once at the and he parted the great doors and there stood a platform with four pillars in every corner and the short ceiling over the platform had a large marble mounted in the center hovering over the ground. No one knew what this place was but it was obvious that it would only activate with the presence of a sorcerer. So the moment Zel stepped foot inside the marble brighten and the light all over the room began to change colors till it faded into an orange. Just then the room sparkled and right in front of his eyes images appeared. Images of the planet all around. His breathe was taken away as he moved closer in. Dazed by the beauty Zel sat down under the large marble, pulle dout his canteen then began to drink as he just watch the planet move all around. It wasn't what he was looking for but it was certainly worth the long hard trip.

(( Bored can't ya tell?)) I did this just for fun and because I miss drawing Zelgadis. I have been working on the Slayers project for awhile that I hadn't had time to draw him or there others as often as I'd like so I stopped my project and many others things just to draw this one picture. I am happy with it. *nods*
