I have to admit my first thought was Gambit from X-men. But probably mostly because I dont know who Dresden is.
But the drawing looks awesome nonetheless. I just love the details like the wrinkles in his shirt or the bracelet and stuff like that.

Well, I actually thought the picture above this one was the Harry fanart...which turned out to be your Isaiah frontlines pic. Confused me there for a moment, I was sure harry wasn't an elf-ish gun toting dude.
This one is much better looking than HP at any rate, though I've never heard of Harry Dresden before.
As for the pentacle, plenty of people wear it all over the place (in the US, in the north at least. I dunno about other areas in the country or the world).
