Love is an Addiction
Love is an addiction.
It's more of a statement then such emo kids, or people head over heels can fathom.
Consider this, if you can. When was the first time you went steady with someone? Was love such an infatuation to you before that? If you have ever broken up with someone you'd remember very well what it feels like afterwards. You crave attention in anyway, big or small.
The saying is true, "Everyone wants to be understood and loved" but that desire is ten times stronger after first being brushed by love.
You crave it, you need it, you can't live without it. So why do we believe love is such a wonderful thing? Shouldn't it be treated like every other addiction. Annihilated. Like a cancer being scrapped out of the brain. I can't seem to comprehend that as humans we desire the very thing that will kill us in the end. Perhaps we pretend to be blind and disreguard the consequences. But one thing's for sure. We are never satisfied with love, we always need more.

Being only human, makes very many of us ignorant to the fact of pain till it can happen. But the need for these things will always block our path to what we know is right, instead of what feels right.

Love truly is an addiction, because you feel like you're just going to wast away without it. The pain that it can cause just eats you up from the inside, and really screws with your body and mind...
