Battle of the Bits Winter Chip 3 entry. It got 2nd place out of 89 entries! Also scored 3rd in the Wait I Think I'm Dreaming and Blizzardation categories.
You guys heard this before. In actuality, I started this tune as an all-gear one-hour composition (see WIPs), but didn't finish it in time due to crappy samples. I sat on it for a while and started doing the NES version. Then, finally, this competition came around, so I decided to re-do it for the Master System and finally finish it. After that I went back and finished the NES one, which I submitted not too long ago.
But yeah, this one surprised me! I wasn't expecting it to do nearly as well as it did. The good part about this is that now the Master System chip might be considered a little more viable.
