gothic lolita, done pixel by pixel, a few years ago. all of this hubub about customs vs. edits has got me wanting to upload my pixel art from a few years ago.
i used to be very into pixel art. my dolling site had somewhere aroun 50 thousand hits when i stopped pixelling. you see, people were stealing my work, using the fill bucket to change colors, and saying it was theirs. this is what most people refer to as "editing" nowadays. when i was in pixel art, we called it frankendolling, stealing, and art theft. it's basically raping someone else's hard work, and it happened to me so frequently that i quit. maybe i'm not some big corporation like nintendo or sony or whatever, but i've had my work stolen, and it sucks balls.

The fishnet stockings look like they would be quite a pain to render in pixels. And I would absolutely LOVE it if my work was stolen. Really, I would. It would be so flattering. That's why when it happened once, I was not so eager for said user to get banned.

I don't know if it was you I mentioned this to, or if it was someone else, but I did recall telling someone I don't like the entire pixel art fashion going around DA/SA lately. What I can say about this, though, is that her hair and face are GORGEOUS, and as always, I love your gothic lolitas.
