This is a truly awesome picture indeed! I do adore the lava lake and the way the sky is so overcast. that adds a sense of mystery to the pic. Also, the bright red and orange colours would reflect on the sins of the angel and how she wants to 'redeem herself' hence the title. The angel is beautifully drawn and i understand how difficult it can be to draw humanoids from behind... i do admire how well done this one is.. thats some skill! :3. This pic sends out a strong message and is very emotive. Perhaps the angel could even represent the 'good' of the world overcoming the 'evil', represented by the lava. A very versatile pic indeed! This is currently my favourite pic on Sheexyart right now. Very well done!

I do understand that drawing humanoids is a difficult concept and its taken me awhile to better myself too... i'm still trying to improve! I think she's beautiful, but i think the anatomy is what needs to be addressed here. Paticularly, the wings and the shape of the back. I could definitely help you out here by drawing you a guide... one that i use to tackle the problems of humanoid anatomy. I know there are better artists than myself out there, but i feel i can help you with this. I do have a simple and effective way of drawing humanoids more accurately. You know what i do to help me draw wings? I look up pictures on the internet of the skeleton of bird wings, so that i can get the anatomy to a pleasing standard.
I do hope this helps you further your abilites. You certainly have the talent! You impress me very much with your eagerness to want to leanr more and better yourself. Most artists are too touchy and take offense when people try to help them, but your different... you'll go all the way with your art and become the best i'm sure
