This was originally called "Faerie Encounter" on DeviantART, but my brother recently told me that if you spell it "Faerie" it's supposed to be a boy, and if it's "Fairy" it's a girl... and Navi's a girl. (Obviously.

Um, there isn't specific ways to spell "fairy" or "faerie". They aren't gender specific.
One is just used in another nation, and another is more recently adapted, feel free to call it whatever you please.
