A Tower To Try And Climb Out Of
My interpretation of love is like a tower.
You are at the bottom and a window is at the top.
You sit there. At the bottom. Alone.
You're able to talk with the outside world to an extent.
Eventually, a rope appears from the window.
That rope reaches to the bottom of the tower.
You grab hold and attempt to climb out.
That's where the relationship starts.
As you climb up the tower, you get to know the person holding the rope more.
You keep talking about your life, what problems you have, and so on.
The person you're getting to know does the same.
You think about advancing the relationship further as you climb.
At a certain point in real life, the person you want to be more intimate with decides that you're not the right person and decides to move on.
That's when the rope breaks. You fall, and the other end gets reeled back out the window.
Now if it was just the beginning of the climb, you fall on you butt, and wait for the next rope to come.
If you're farther up and your heart got broken, you fall farther down, and land on your back. HARD. It takes some time to recover. Who knows how long.
Now if you think about it. You're left with the broken piece of rope.
You try again and again only to receive more pieces of broken rope.
Now think to yourself "Maybe I should try to attach theses pieces together."
And so you tie the pieces of rope together and toss the rope out the window.
You hope somebody is there to grab on to it.
It may take some time, but someone will grab that other end of rope.
You attempt your climb again. Let's say that you actually found your soul mate and make it to the winder.
You reach the window to find out that someone's in a tower too, and you've help him/her climb out of it along with yourself. Congrats.

;3; wow, it's even better in extended metaphor form
This should be something they put in an english textbook. The interpretation and comparison is really interesting and makes for an emotional read. I know I can definitely relate to it :) it's wonderful! Nice job

Indeed...
That's an amazing way of describing it
Very nice.

So, in theory, if the rope gets pulled back when you've climbed high enough, the fall will, in fact, kill you?
