I hate looking at something and feeling sorry for a totally lifeless entity that could not have feelings. When I look at a dirty old bike leaning against a tree, I do. I think how this is possible. After all, it's just a bike.
Maybe I don't feel sorry for the bike, but the person who can no longer ride it.
I am still messing with that picture.
