Though there isn't enough detail to tell, they're in the library, which is more or less Cukeman's research area, if you will.
I've always thought personal research facilities/laboratories were pretty cool. Imagine, this one character has a vast wealth of information and resources that other characters moght use, and he'd be able to find it much more quickly than the information-seeker could, and he'd look professional and cool while doing it...it's just had some sort of appeal for me.
