Think about how gravity and momentum affect you as you move. If a person is going to jump and roll in the air how do you think they would move? If you are pushing off with your feet then your uperbody, around your shoulders or your head, becomes your point of rotation in a sense.
You have the right idea when he jumps back, using his arms to build momentum for the leap, but the first jump is way off. Remember, force disipates with time so he will be moving upward slower and slower, not faster, until he stops and then falling faster and faster until he stops.

the earth gravity is 1G when your stickman jump was like -2g :))) make the stick hit the ground more quickly

Its pretty good for a beginner.
As stated earlier you got to pay more attention to Physics and gravity and whatnot.
Also the scraps are a bad issue I had with once too. Try to keep those little black specs attatched to the body.
