Improvise WIP

::WARNING:: HUGE FILE!

ok, so i figured that after like, a month, of work i should show you guys how this one is coming along.
this is roughly 14 hours of work, including the practice scribbles i'd done and erased on the side and the doing, redoing, and reredoing of a lot of different parts. the hair took up a lot of time, as you can see Scythe's hair was originally long, but after i'd had completed two times i hated the way it looked and gave Scythe a hair cut.
as for the major difference between Scythe's shirt/ gauntlets vs. the pants/boots, i wanted to try out different tools and brushes. the shirt/gauntlets are the outcome of my discovery of the clone tool, and the pants/boots are the outcome of me actually trying to use color and not low opacity black to do the shading.
the jewels on the shirt and on Ixxa (the sword, it's going through the works again on appearance) were painted myself with only the reference of two different blue jems.
the silver design on the shirt will be changed, as i'm not happy with how bland it is.
and yes, i barely started working on Ixxa.


Scythe's pose is rather irrelivant compared to the rest of the image, i know. she was drawn originally with no intention of an actual picture, but i just put Tari and the big huggable troll on there and was like "huh, looks retarded but this could be a lot of fun!"
there's hardly any background to this in relation to the book, it's just a simple fight scene that i've decided to cough up.
