“It’s what life asks of us,” Evan said. “Don’t try to hold on to it. Just let it go. Let it move through you and then move on… Otherwise it hurts too much.”





I have two reasons for drawing this. The first is because I realised I've never depicted the strength of the friendship between Cole and Evan in the form of a drawing. The second is because I rarely give myself a chance to render anatomy to such a degree.

I won't go into any details that would be spoilers for my book, but yes, this is a scene from the story
