Wow! This is a really neat piece! I love her eyes and the whole thing…if you ask me, I think there’s a very morbid underlying tone and I really like it, it’s very well done with the shading and the lighting.
It’s a technique that I’ve never really seen on Sheezy before and I really admire it.
I am disappointed that the thumbnail looks much better than the large version of the picture. As beautiful as the lineart is, it seems very messy when it came to the coloring. Especially when compared to the photos you used in the background. It's too crisp when compared to the things you actually drew. Your chair sticks out like a sore thumb sadly. You put more detail into your main subject and the background than you did the chair, and if that were the case, it shouldn't even be in there then.
I'm not saying this is a good piece, I'm saying with what work that seemed to go into the bare bones of the picture, the outcome is disappointing with the "messy" work in coloring and cleaning up your lines.
I do like this piece but I hope you consider what I've said because you have talent; yet this does not show it in your full effort.
But perhaps that was what you were going for in the end?
I am in 100% disagreement with NeoRyo. I think the messy look is what gives the image character and substance, and helps to involve the lighting with the rest of the picture.
Being able to take a step backwards and make a picture messy is a sign of true skill.
