Wow what to say about this picture. I had started about a year ago I think. I can no longer remember exactly lol I had started the head aiming for a rougher style as I was using my tablet. I was planning some grand background or something done in the same style. I was going to have leaping dolphins I was sure of it. However after finishing the face which took 4 days, I had problems making up my mind how to complete it. I had started on a city of Atlantis idea but was having computer problems and lost a lot of side files and recent progress files.

I recently started working on it again and felt the strangest sense of deja vu and kept asking my self questions like what was this person thinking.

So as for how it was made. Man is loosely based on my dad. Shirt was painted flatly and then had brushes textured on top of it. City started out as a filter mess that was then burned, dodged, smudged, and painted into submission. I made crown and the texture for it and the gems. One snail shell and one turret shell were used from stock. Finished with a mouse. Done in ps 6-8 No dolphins :(
