This animated short should really be called "The Mobile Sponge realizes he's not Tyioko, and can't jump back into fbf'ing at a framerate of 30"

30 Fps
about 2-3 minutes, and hopefully enjoyable

Voices:
Me
and the illustrious Doodlibop and her voice of gold

Personal Summary:
This was an animation I just felt like doing, I had a good idea based around the idea of a Paint Demon. I wanted to make it far more cheeky than anything else I've done, ehh I think I prefer my scripted humor to be more simple, rather than cynical. The next animation I do is going to do alot more with lighting though, and better use of backgrounds with each of the scenes. Anyways I learned quite a bit from this experience, and of course, critiquing is VERY welcome

Enjoy

Heh, that painting looked a lot better after being "ruined." Not a bad piece, I must say. I could name off a number of things to improve on, such as a heavy reliance on the same swish sound, a few slightly-dragged on bits (angry reaction to painting, dodging the paint demon, and the paint demon about to wrap around the guy). But it makes for a good portfolio piece, not a lot of people know flash AND how to make a good story out of it. Plus, during the bible throwing, i felt there was a spike in the animation qualitiy (a positive one) with the cheating throw and the bounce off the demon's head. You should fbf more too, but on 24 fps.

If I may rate it.... 7.9 out of 10

Jon Hicken Says:

Not bad at all, but it did look strange in places because you were switching from pencil to brush tool and vice versa.
Some good FBF, too!
