third and last of the triology - arriving in the 21st century.
Please look up earlier two as well - europe and India

oil on canvas, .4mX.5m

Explanation -

The sitting figures from left to right represent -

native indians
african slaves
japanese from Nagasaki/Hiroshima
vietnamese
iraqis

I might specifically mention for my american viewers that there is NOTHING personal about this criticism of america. It is a view held by the most of the third world.

so..america is seen a kind of a prejidous country..? that makes me sad :( but I really like it and how the five representative people portray such emotions of sorrow pain and suffering

Sana Says:

Most of the third world and then everybody else.
Honestly, there are too many horrible tragedies that america has caused to count.
You have such a mastery of imagery, by the way, this image makes me a bit teary.
I love the figures in the foreground and especially the prosthetic leg in the back...just wow.

It seems like a very accurate desciption of the negative aspects of America, even though the image reprents alot from the past.. it's somehow very negative and I was looking for some hope somewhere
