As Zero dashed towards the horde of Mavericks, he took his Z-Saber in his right hand, and activated it, forming a blueish-green, triangular saber. Meanwhile, the mavericks activated their weapons. When the front line of the mavericks was only four feet away from him, Zero slashed at the first three, cutting them in half. The remains of those reploids fell to the ground, and exploding on impact. Zero dashed towards his next victims.

Suddenly, a green laser shot at him from his left, but he simply side-stepped out of the way, letting the laser destroy about 70 mavericks. Zero looked to his left, and saw a giant Golem, probably malfunctioning. He decided that he'd dodge all of the Golem's attacks, and have it destroy the mavericks for him. It would work better than Zero taking care of a Golem and 127 weaker mavericks. Just as Zero decided what he was going to do, the Golem shot three lasers: One to his left, another to his right, and a third going straight towards him.

"How clever.....", Zero muttered, as he jumped over the first, and side-stepped out of the way of the remaining lasers. Zero looked out of the corner of his eye, and, he could tell, that there was only about 20 mavericks left. Fascinating as it was, it was to be expected from a stronger maverick, especially if it was a Golem. The last twenty mavericks decided to help the Golem take care of Zero, and started towards him.

"No point in waiting to destroy them if their just going to get in the way...", Zero thought, and he switched out his Z-Saber for his Chain Rod. He was going to have to be quick, or the Chain Rod would only get about 10 of them, and he'd have to risk getting hit by the Golem's attacks. So Zero dashed toward them, jumped, and swung has Chain Rod, getting all of them except two. Just then, the Golem tried to grab him in its claws, missed by just a few inches, and destroying the last two pantheons.

The red reploid turned around, and dashed towards the giant mechaniloid, cutting it's body in half with just one slash of his saber. The armor must have taken damage somehow, otherwise, it wouldn't of gone down that easlily.

"Zero, you've gotten a lot stronger, even after being sealed away for about 100 years..."
