I desperately wanted to do some art, but something that didn't require too much thinking power on my behalf. I found this sketch in my sketchbook, and figured maybe it'll be good to give it a colour job.
Kitty Sonic and Snow-Meow Silver bugging the crap out of Mr. Grumpy Pants Puppy Shadow, who was probably brooding about something worthwhile before these two showed up, and now he's brooding about the fact that they just won't leave him alone. You just can't angst in peace can you, Shadow? D:
The background gave me Hell, and considering it is so simple just makes me cry. And it still doesn't look right. But I've gotten to the point where I didn't care any more, so damnit there it is!
But I love love LOVE how Silver's glowiness and spots came out. I used a custom brush to place them, like I did the last time I drew the guy, then just messed around with some Photoshop layer effects. The glow surrounding him was done in OpenCanvas; I'm not too familiar with drawing a flowy sort of power light like the ones in the game, so I sort of winged it. And it turned out not too shabby if I say so myself.
It doesn't quite pop as much as I want it to, but I'm guessing I need a darker background for that so I'm cool with that. Next time, maybe.

Silver - mixed with snow leopard
Sonic - mixed with cougar/lynx and human/overlander (whichever floats your boat)
Shadow - mixed with wolf
