Charmed Mirrors

Careless feet march on sacred grounds,
Bells roar with anger shaking fearless clouds.

Conceited one,
Place your heart in the flame,
Dissipate.

My inner battle,
You set upon on the stage for them to attack,
Crucify.

Will not forget,
Will not forgive,
Revenge is a bittersweet poison.

2401PenitentTangent Says:

I like this.

mercury yume Says:

it feels like fighting back, I like this, this is the kind anger that I like to see, and I generally don't condone anger, it's not good for you, makes you fat

I really like the couplet at the start, the almost rhyme, it really helps the flow of the whole thing. The seemingly simple set out and the lines not being long is wonderfully deceptive, because as usual, it's very rich. Every single line has a purpose, and it drives it's purpose forward as best it can. Excellent.

Smiling Devil Says:

I love this poem, I don't know why, I think it's the flow and the use of words. I'm jealous.
