In my early teens, I fancied myself a cartoonist. That is, the kind of guy who draws a daily strip such as Garfield or Peanuts. One summer, I filled up most of a sketchbook with various strips and one-panel gags featuring Harold Mouse, who is my oldest character--I've been drawing him since around 1981. I recently found that sketchbook and perused my old cartoons. Most of them sucked. Hard. But this one stood the test of time. I thought it was simple and effective, and deserved to be redrawn in my updated style. So that's what I've done here. Enjoy!
