I had intended to post a different picture before this one, but this marks my 300th submition on DA, so I wanted it to be something a bit more special.
Featuring Jyalongul and her older brother, Lucas!
Wait, Jya has a brother? Since when?
Well, since always. See, the very concept of Jya (and Lucas) came about from a sudden flash of inspiration I got several months (maybe over a year, I don't know) ago. Basically, I thought of a potential sidestory focusing on a pair of dragon siblings, Jyalongul and Lucas (who had a different name). I drew Jya, but time passed, and I stillhadn't drawn Lucas. I think at one point I ended up scrapping him altogether, before I decided to resurrect him last week...and here he is: Lucas Quetza Sonata Cormag.
Why does Jya have an awkward and long name while Lucas doesn't? I dunno. Ask their parents.
