What, Atari on Sega?

Okay, it's Atari Raccon on the Sega Master System.

I've been learning to program games for the Sega Master system. Amazingly enough, I'm doing pretty good so far.

Right now I'm whipping up a ROM to use as a template as I learn to program elements in a game. My intended victim, my 'so called sequel' to the Samurai Pizza Cats game on the NES (hardly) starring my own fanchar. How geeky can I get.

Right now, after startup of a system or emulator, I got some scrolling text expliaining the 'story', obviously taking place after the end of the origional SPC/KNT.

I got a keen little title screen there too with an all too familiar picture, and of course, the title being a bit of a parody of the origional Japanese series name.

And the two shots on the bottom are the 'game play' itself. So far though, I only got him walking around right now, no jumping or action of sorts yet. Oh, notice the Imperial Palace in the background. Yeah, kinda ripped it off of the NES game, and added much needed colour to it.

Don't expect to see the rom just yet, a select few might get a copy in it's current state, but don't ever expect a complete game based on this. I'd rather pull off a full tilt, SPC/KNT game really.

That's pretty neat.

Although, is it hard to program games for the Sega Master System?
