Video Gaming

Yeah, it just loops....I just wanted to have the play button and scrolling words in the beginning because...I'M PROUD I CAN DO IT OKAY?! Shut up...

I was planning to use this (only a gif version I was going to post) as a new id...but I guess animated gifs don't seem to want to work at their normal size....because I tried and for whatever reason it worked, it was animated, but it was shrunk down and looked awful...guess I'll have to draw another id sometimes soon.

So...I really need a new id, especially since I've entirely changed my hairstyle. This girl doesn't entirely look like me, but that's just because it's anime-fied, considering I CANNOT to any type of realism in flash, duh. It's similar enough. Besides, that IS the outfit I was...and still am...wearing when I started this (my pajamas), composed of a simple yellow tanktop and gray sweatpants. I couldn't get this idea out of my head...and it turned out exactly how I thought of it...a bit simpler than I first thought, though...but I don't have quite enough time to do exactly what I wanted, but this is good enough for me.

I'm actually doing this for a web page design assignment...well the assignment is just to do a simple web page in Dreamweaver about anything you want...and I'm going to do gaming so I didn't want it to be boring so I wanted to do a flash for it. This is that flash. It was really fun to do, pretty simple really....took a while for something so simple looking. I did it frame by frame, no tweening except for the movie clip at the beginning where the words scroll across. I'm so excited that I'm teaching myself how to use the action script...it's starting to make sense. Learning a little at a time by experimentation.

Going into animation was one of my other job choices...but I love programming...and game programming is my number one choice, but hey, knowing the basics of animation is imperative for a game programming too! =)
