Rameale and his Strings!

This is Rameale of the Rosehip Players. Earth Star's best friend mostly through their mutual love of music... and occasionally, the joy of flirting.

When he was younger, he lived with his parents at the Alder pond, a small isolated pond that had a small trade route with the Rowan Pond and occasionally, The Clan. They tend to stay away from those of The Clan though due to fear of their God and have a hard time going the way of the Stegtrybe. And while they have a lot in common with the Rowans, sometimes the smallest differences keep them apart.

The Rowan socializing is rather racist, usually treating those who don't have toadtone (usually a yellowish or brown) skin poorly and isolating them. As for the frogs, they have to have green skin and if not, than they are also isolated and treated poorly. Being of either race, if one has/uses magic, they are also considered abnormal and scary.

The Alderians are similar in that they share the same belief but more firmly so. Everyone must also have blue eyes to be treated properly.

Rameale was lucky enough to be fairly well off. He also knew of his extended family, his younger cousin, Honey and her parents. But unfortunately, when she was young, there was a plague spreading around their pond and it killed both of her parents. So Rameale's family took her in. Not liking her naivette nature, he tried to teach her to be smart.

But one day, after befriending a Stegtrybe squirrel who didn't believe in his clan's ways, Honey decided to disregard the racist teachings. Honey was friends with the squirrel for a long time until one day he got caught. But even after being taken and beaten, he didn't want to be away from her so he came back. They stuck together.

Things were going better as they became more secretive but one day a toadlet came to the pond and asked Honey a few questions. Honey gave out information and the toadlet eventually used it against her. The Raiders came and searched the pond, hurting many of the inhabitants in the process. Soon after, the pond found out it was Honey and bannished her. Thinking that Rameale was somehow involved with her teaching, he was also exiled.

Now, holding malice for Honey for having lost his family and home, he tries to lose her in The Great Forest. Eventually, realizing he can't, he keeps her around but gives her the cold shoulder, knowing that his peaceful nature won't let him do anymore than that.

He finds Rufus and Dune Pixie Hood and eventually, together, they become the official Rosehip Players!
