He had her! Finally. Evil at last triumphed over Good, Darkness over Light. And she stayed his for a very long time. And the world suffered greatly, for there always was a balance. Now there was not. There was no chance at Freedom, for Bynd had won. But not for long. She heard the cries of the desperate souls, millions of them, all calling out for her. She absorbed a power the Darkness could not steal; Hope. She filled her self with it, and the tendrils of Fear hissed and temporarily released her. Then, realizing what it had done, snapped its self back around her, grabbing on to anything it could. But it was too late; she had already gained momentum. The more she moved, the faster Warmth chased Cold from her stiff limbs. And she ran. Pieces of the Oblivion managed to catch her briefly, then snapped off and rejoined the mass to try again. Again and again Bynd attempted to catch his prisoner and failed. With one last burst of energy, this one was Promise, Windswept ripped through the Gloom and jumped onto the rays, which lead to the other world. She was free! As soon as she saw what had happened to her world while she had been gone, she stopped dead. War, Famine, Poverty, Death and Phear had free reign over her lands, and murdered them.
