A scrum-diddly-umptious painting featuring one of history's most famous female historical figures- Marie Antoinette-- in a scandalous pin up style portrait. Whether the famous quote 'Let them Eat Cake' was fictitious or taken out of context, it's no denying the historical connection to the famous Austrian born Queen of France.
I watched the newest movie not too long ago, and I must say that while the imagery and eye candy was to die for, I was left quite unamused by the scene cutting and lack of storyline. I felt there was a lot more that could have been done with the movie-- however I did like the soundtrack (Siouxie Sioux anyone?). However I have been researching the history of the famous queen as of late, and the result of all that researching and movie watching is the painting you see here.
Prints available at www.jaydehilliard.com after the original sells.
