This has been sitting on my computer for like a year... probably more. Anyway, I hauled ass and finished it. So, this is The Devil, Takai after he got blasted by the newly re-powered Demon God, Kerrigore. I had fun with this. Enjoy.

Mmm, delicious gore. I highly approve of the use of red and purple and all of the detail. My one critique is that adding some purple highlights to all his various detail would have made him pop up from the background more.

This kicks so much ass on so many levels.
For starters, the design concept -- it totally rocks. This is definitely something you would be terrified to encounter in a dark alley. Second, I like gore. Gory's good. Dude reminds me a bit of Starscream, who didn't care if his shell was being ripped away--HE HAD POWER!!! BWAH-HAHHAHA!
But I digress.
I love how you do the dramatic lighting. And the bit of purple really draws your eye to the detail you put into his face.

The gore in this picture is so amazingly morbid, I love it. I also love the purple flames singing bits of his body, well, what's left of it. Kerrigore certainly did a number on him.
