End to Enlightenment

Our faculty is rotting
black moldy decay
rotten sunken ceilings
our education ends today

we are ignorantly choking
on this stinking air
we won't escape this dreary place
I mournfully declare

memories are gasping
and gagging for good measure
as they are cast down under
like forsaken treasure

Luckily we will suffocate
before the chance to drown
in the slowly rising water
in this good for nothing town

Monday, my Economics teacher told the class that six years ago, a janitor turned the heat off during Christmas break, to try and save some money for the school, and all the pipes burst flooded the school. He's said that now there's probably black mold in the ceilings because all they did was fix the pipes. >.> It sounded interesting so I decided to write about it.
