Poem: Wishing For Wisdom.

Sometimes, I wish I was a woman,
To be faultless, yet imperfect
To manipulate so simply with so little,
To control with not only my voice, but my body
And make a living of lies.
To be desirable, but to be unloved,
To get away with more than men,
To bitch and moan about man endlessly and not be judged,
But when sexism and resistance come, to oppose, contradict and lie,
And complain, and nag, and moan, and scream
To be the queen of the world I dream
To be kind and evil, to be beautied and flawed,
To take so much, and give so little,
To create so little, to destroy so much,
To have many faces, but to show so few,
To stab the back, and heal the front,
To blame any irrational behavior on the fact that once a month, I bleed.
Perfection was never so flawed.
