Mew Ringo - Colored "Fanart"

I colored this because:
1) There aren't enough images of Ringo out there from the artist.
2) I needed it so I could make the banner I wanted to for my neopets layout. (Shut the fuck up about my neopets. I don't give a damn.)
3) It was insanely fun.

This is an offical drawing Mia Ikumi did of Mew Ringo. It can be found in volume 6 of the Tokyo Mew Mew manga, torward the back. I scanned it, cleaned it up, changed the lineart color, and just had fun with the multiply feature. Then I played with the background, inspired by a soft Kashimashi tutorial in a Newtype issue. It was really just a "for the heck of it" experience, and I love how it turned out. You can see the banner I made with it here:
