So, there's this fella that works in my building who asked me to paint some shoes for his artistically-appreciative daughter. Voila.
These may not be quite as detailed as other shoes, but they took oh-so much longer, for I used textile paints! The colors don't bleed, and they are more vivid than the markers I had been using. They take longer to use, though. I'll get better with more experience. Hopefully

Yeah, textile paints are a pain. I tried a few times to paint on t-shirts with them for friends and just found them so frustrating that after three so-so attempts I gave up.

What do you use to prep the shoes if you use markers so they don't bleed? I know you said you used Gesso to prep them for paints.
