This was my final for Photo & Digital I. It was awesome.
Now the break down:
First we had to select three stock images, I choose a picture of fire(the background) a picture of what looked like a circle sparkler(image2), and something that looked like a close up of a gold fish(image3).
We than took a rectangular selection from image 2, and use a layer mask to blend one side of it. (This is on the bottom).
Second we took a circular selection from image 2, which is my orb on the right of the screen, can't miss it.
than from the third image we took part of the image and put it in text, and add a drop shadow (I also added a glow, don't remember which one though
)
Third we had to take a part of the background and use the gaussian blur on it, I choose the top of the fire.
I critiqued it a little bit when I got home, I blurred the top of the rectangle a little more so you couldn't see the line in the changing images, and I also softened the edge of the circle. I don't remember doing anything else... so here it be.
