The back entry to the Main Cavern.

The caverns sit on a small channel that acts as both the civilization's main source of nourishment, as well as their primary mode of transport.
This river, or channel -- whichever you prefer for I don't know the exact technical term for it -- runs through the entire cavern, connecting the eastern and western bodies of water. Consequently, one can have a spectacular view of both sunrise and sunset in one day without the spectacular cost of buying airline tickets to fly to the other side of the continent.
...not saying that airborne vehicles exist in this realm, buut.. i suppose I'll have to think about it for a bit.
Also pictured here is a small village that chose to live outside the protective confines of the main cavern... (need to start giving names to these places >_> )

i dunno, there is just some brushed color mish-mash placed randomly... I think that clouds would be better
