Pepper & Co. - 2008

It's been about a year since I've drawn Pepper & Co. Here they are presented for the first time together, and in color!

Those unknowing of the bunch, the dog on the right is Pepper, and he inherited a big house. He got lonely living there by himself, so he got some new friends to stay with him. Thus, it is called "Pepper and Company."

Pepper is a bit of an oddball, but is of good character, and the friends he made all had their troubles to sort out, so he's offering to help. His methods are rather questionable, as his behavior is slightly on the unstable and unpredictable side. He "breaks the boundaries" when necessary.

Ataru the lion is a timid character who feels like an outcast from his family, being a "scaredy-cat" and such. Pepper helps him muster up some courage and bring out his potential, but sometimes his methods make Ataru feel even more uncomfortable. It is love that truly brings out his courage.

Kira the tiger is very tough, but doesn't follow the laws of the jungle very well. She also has a bit of an issue about eating, and Pepper's trying to curb her hunger as best as he can. Despite her obese appearance, she's very powerful, and doesn't take nonsense from anyone. But even she isn't a match for Pepper sometimes.

Olive the fox as been forced to live a life on her own, and she needs company herself. She came to Pepper's house looking for somewhere to stay. She can be even more of an odd character than Pepper sometimes, but is always willing to help Pepper's cause. She has a cruch on Pepper, but he doesn't seem to realize this.

The situations they confront are varied, and you can never truly tell how things will turn out in the end. But it's a fun ride along the way. At least for some. :3
