Oh my...WOW. Having seen a lot of cardinals in my life, including up close, you have absolutely NAILED the color of the plumage. Oddly enough, though her feathers aren't as bright, it's the female I find most impressive. I think maybe that's where the detail work you put into the feathers is most obvious.
I like your style, I haven't seen anything like yours before. I love the distinct eyes, and the clean, fresh, crisp colors and brush strokes. You clearly are not any amateur, and your mature skill is clearly depicted in your art. Great job, and great imagination. I hope to see more from you
