Russian Ice

I emoed all over my tablet as I colored this. (I heard that phrase somewhere and had to use it)

Do you recognize him? Do you? O.o A while ago I searched for a new design of Yedaji, this was the one I chose with your help. He looks so cute. At the moment I will use this because I feel like how he looks. All emo and shy and stuff. Fits better than the other version But that doesn’t mean that I will get rid of the other version, just have to figure out how that can suppose to go together.

Blame my insane obsession for soundtracks for the title. I heard “Rise” from the Ghost of the shell OST and than I thought about the bg. Leo has the matrix Style, S’ren the cowgirl style and Yed? Duh, so I had the sudden urge to make something Russian stylish. I knew I wouldn’t find anything but I searched the web and I found this pic about ice sculptures. A chess game somewhere in Russia and I liked the colors and wanted to use it as color ref and since the title of the pic was “Russian Ice chess” or something I used this title.

I love his expression. All “OMG, what am I doing here?” Something he always does when Leo’s again doing something completely insane. Like jumping from buildings.

Some facts:

1. I am completely aware that that is a german Bundeswehr jacket. I really own it. I am not a soldier nor do I support war or anything (don’t dare to discuss something political here) but there are two reason I have it. First: I like it; Second: It’s incredible warm.

2. The jacket is heavy. I guess something around 1.5 kilos or so. It’s made completely of a heavy fabric but it still keeps away the rain and the cold. In reality the jacket is longer.

3. I often wear this expression. All “OMG” or “WTF” like.

4. I often wear tank tops and I really own this sock things. Although I have these things for my arms and not for my legs.

5. I really wear this collar. It’s a real dog collar. It was the first collar my dogs had as they were puppies. And my sister bought me the little bell.
