Later on that day, after they all were able to retrieve at least four more shards from hearing rumors of demons and ordinary people attacking villages. The gang continued to walk around the forest trying to see if they could find a hint of Naraku, “I wonder where he’s hiding.” Inuyasha said on the ground trying to sniff out Naraku’s scent. “Be patient, Inuyasha. I’m sure will find him soon.” Kagome said watching him move across the ground.
Ashia was beside Kagome watching curiously at Inuyasha, “Doggie?” She whispered to Kagome who nodded with a sweat drop. “Yeah, Inuyasha is a half-demon. He’s half human and half dog demon.”Kagome explained to her, Ashia just cocked her head and smiled again.
“Doggie.” She said again, “I heard that!” Inuyasha said standing up and listening to what Ashia and Kagome was talking about. “And don’t call me doggie!” He yelled at Ashia. Ashia looked at him with a sad face like that of a child’s, Inuyasha blushed and turned around and continued. “Maybe we should just rest for awhile.” Shippo suggested yawning a little, Inuyasha was about to say something when a strong gust of wind blew past them. “What was that!?” Kagome yelled looking up and seeing a familiar site. “Kagura!” Inuyasha growled her name and barring his claws. “What do you want?” He yelled at her ready to strike. “Don’t worry; I don’t want your stupid jewel shards. I’m here for something else.” Kagura said, making another strong wind that grabbed up Ashia who was still holding Shippo. “Oh no! Ashia-chan! Shippo!” Kagome yelled trying to cover her face up from the wind. Ashia landed on top of Kagura’s feather and flew off with her before the others could try and help.
As Kagura headed to Naraku's castle she wondered to herself why he wanted this girl so badly, "It doesn't make sense." She whispered to herself. Ashia and Shippo were quiet and didn't say anything the whole ride. It wasn't too long before they had reached the castle which was surrounded by various demons, they didn't attack them which was surprising as they landed and entered the castle. When they walked inside they were greeted by Kan'na who led them to a room, "You stay in here." Kagura told Ashia who simply walked into the room as Kagura shut it. "Why's this happening!" Shippo yelled jumping out of Ashia's arms, "Why did they kidnap us?" he said looking around the room which was dark.
It really didn't have anything in it, but it did have a window. The sliding door opened slightly, a man walked inside the room. Ashia felt two strong arms wrap around her small waist, she turned her head and was greeted by two beautiful red eyes. "Hello, my mate." He said smirking looking down at her. "What! She's not your mate!" Shippo yelled trying act brave but moved away from them when Naraku glared at him. "I only asked Kagura to grab this girl not you." He said holding Ashia close, Ashia felt weird in his arms. The same feeling that she had earlier came back, just what was that feeling?
"Don't worry love. I'll help you remember everything. About us and about our past." Naraku said turning her around to face him, Ashia looked at him but didn't say anything. But, she did blush when he pulled her close to him. "What do you mean?" she asked him gently trying to get out of his hold. He only held her tighter and said "You'll know soon enough." He moved his head towards the right side of her neck and kissed it. "You'll know."
