I stumbled upon a couple of tutorials. One was how to make a surreal starry background, the other how to make a fairly realistic-looking planet. I experimented with techniques similar to them, then combined the two to make this. I really like the red-purple-blue spectrum. I wouldn't mind having something like this hanging on my wall, but I made its dimensions too small to print. Still, it's in the 16:9 widescreen ratio, which I'm fond of. Looks good on a computer.
The title is inspired by a song of the same name from Unreal Tournament.
